Why do we celebrate October 27th?

On October 27, 1943, La Federación de Estudiantes Panameños, or Panama Student’s Federation (FEP) was created, and in 1948 a law was established so, that on this day we’d honor the heroic deeds of this organization and the following years to commemorate the effort and dedication of Panamanian students.

We as teachers want to take this space to commemorate your hard work, dedication, and amazing use of your talents that we’ve seen this year.

This year we have seen:

YOU:

*Be dedicated to your studies, assignments, and tasks.

*Be brave as you have been writing in a second language.

*Be willing as your teachers approach you with all these different topics to write about.

*Be teachable as your editors confronted you, and gave you tips on how to make the ideas in your articles better.

*Be good students as you give good testimony of your relationship with God.

It was for you that this Newspaper was created, you are the ones who keep it alive and make it possible and for that, we will be always thankful to our God.

“Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God. Whenever I pray, I make my requests for all of you with joy.” Philippians 1:3-4
