The Bible is such a magnificent, sacred and controversial book. Composed of 66 books and divided into two large sections, the Old Testament and the New Testament.
A guide that was written by the inspiration of God, in there we can see the life of Jesus written, all his wonders, miracles, justice, and more… but how does the Bible impact us individually?
In the Bible, we find verses on various topics and for any type of problems or tests that we are facing, that is one of the best qualities of the Bible in my opinion, without forgetting the fact that God speaks to us through it, In addition we must take into account the Holy Spirit since He is our spiritual helper. The good thing about the Bible is that in it you find the truth for everything and it does not lie to us since it was written by men who were inspired by God, and God is not a man to lie or a son of man to repent.
In the Bible there are many stories that we can see in its books, I felt that they are strong in the area of learning, and I am a fan of knowing and learning new things. In the Bible, we can see people’s points of view, written in it and the stories that appear so that we can learn, but certain stories like the history of Sodom and Gomorrah, is a story that I like a lot but still, I would have liked that Lot’s wife had not been carried away by the cries of that city so that it will not end up as a statue of salt, but I also felt the teaching behind this story is very good. The other point is the story of Cain and Abel, as we already know Cain killed his brother, but what was the need? Although we know that anger can often blind us to the point that we can say hurtful things or do hurtful things, unfortunately, this was the case with Cain, honestly, I am a little disappointed with this story, not by its end, If not for the act Cain did, keep believing that there was no need to kill his brother in my opinion.
The book of Daniel, I especially liked it because it is interesting to see how Daniel and his mates maintained their positions, their faith, and who they are, taking risks like this but knowing who is with them and why they do it, apart from the fact that in this book we can see several stories that are of great teachings, such as that of King Nebuchadnezzar and his greed, as well as the different actions of Daniel, Ananias, Misael, and Azarias.
A point that I like in someway, although one of the big attractions of the Bible and one that I find extremely captivating is that within it there are parables. The teachings said by Jesus, which leave you with intrigue, as well as each person deciphers it differently, but many people do not understand them, just for the old versions of the language was a bit difficult to understand for our current times, but this point I like it because I feel the act of reading a bit interactive when looking for the meanings of each word and being able to learn a little more, as I said, I am a fan of learning new things.
The truth is that, this is quite an educational and inspiring reading and it depends on the mentality of each person who makes it boring or attractive, or whether it has some impact or not because certainly, the Bible is a very wide place, but in my opinion, everything in it was interesting, within what we can assimilate, learn and put into practice, it is honestly a good read and I hope that many can read it and be able to see how the Bible impacts you.
“Let it be your care to get the approval of God, as a workman who has no cause for shame, giving the true word in the right way. 2 Timothy 2:15”
